All of the items below were created for the purposes of brand awareness, experiential marketing and keeping consistency throughout to ensure every time someone saw marketing from Mayawell, it was easily recognizable.

Wheat Pasting

I utilized a busy time in Austin - SXSW, when the city experiences an influx in travelers, to promote brand awareness in populated areas. These wheat pastings served as an opportunity to turn heads with eye catching graphics & familiarize the cans.

PACKAGE DESIGN

While designing Mayawell’s packaging, I hoped to create an experience and offer product education, all while staying true to the brand. On the outside you’ll notice an agave - the hero ingredient, fruit tape - a tribute to all of the flavors, & 2 of the brands taglines. On the inside you'd find a Oaxacan post card - a tribute to our co-founders home & the birth of our brand, a sticker sheet, Spotify Cards (see more information below), and an educational brochure about the brand.

The goal for the Spotify cards were to create a sense of feeling towards each drink flavor. Every playlist was uniquely curated to transport you to where we believed the flavors belonged. For example - the Pineapple Mango playlist was made for the perfect beach vacation including songs like “Island in the Sun'“ by Weezer (a classic). The Strawberry Ginger flavor has a spicy kick to it, so the playlist consisted of bold & high-energy songs.

Expo West

I had the privilege of designing & creating a 10x10 ft Expo West booth for Mayawell’s first year at Expo West. While working on a tight budget, I was able to represent the brands Mexican heritage with a custom built fruit cart & branded visuals. Below you’ll see my original mockup vs. the final booth.

BILLBOARD

I was able to help in the design process of this billboard that sat on one of the busiest streets of Austin during the summer of 2022. It received thousands of eyes every single day while being a great marketing asset throughout the entire summer.
